Hey Ewe!

On Friday, all of us in 1JB, started to get busy practicing our Christmas play. It’s call Hey Ewe and is a slightly different look at the story of the Nativity. We all got to choose our parts and began to learn how to read them and the order we would do the play in.

It was really happy to see everyone so excited about doing the play and trying their hardest to read out their lines in front of the whole class. After that, we practiced some of the songs together and everyone enjoyed learning and singing these Christmas songs.

I am not sure how long the excitement can be contained now that Christmas has come to 1JB, but I am really looking forward to see seeing all the children feel so proud of themselves when they get to show all their hard work.

I don’t want to spoil things for the performance itself, but thought it would be fun for the children to share some of their favourite songs. So I am putting on the blog three different songs and the words to them that the children might want to sing at home if they have time. By the time of the performance I am sure you’ll be singing along to them to!

You can find the songs and words at the bottom of this post. We hope you enjoy singing them.

Ryan was really brave to be one of the first to
read his lines to the whole class.

All of 1JB working really hard, and having fun
learning the words and moves to our songs.

Everyone listened really hard when Matty
Read his part as one of the narrators.

Jamie was a star reader when he tried out his part
