After our well earned holiday, 1JB will be doing lots of learning about traditional tales and especially Little Red Riding Hood. After lunch today we thought about how much we were looking forward to doing this and where these traditional tales came from. Mr Budge explained that they were told by storytellers for a very long time before they were written down and told us his own version of the story, just like a storyteller would have told people hundreds of years ago.

We all enjoyed this so much and spent the afternoon thinking a lot about the story while we got on with our learning. Lots of us also wanted Mr Budge to find the story to put on our blog so that we could listen to it in the classroom or at home if we had the chance.

So Mr Budge looked on the internet and found some copies of the story to put on the blog. Please just click on the links below to listen to the story and get to know all the words and characters used to make it such an exciting tale to listen to.
