1JB have been working hard at being rocket designers this term in DT. We have been given the mission to design and make a rocket to transport a very precious passenger deep into space and to design a rocket to keep them safe. This special passenger is a delicate egg-stronaut and we are trying to do our best to make a vehicle that will keep them safe and stop them cracking on their long journey into the unknown.

We have thought a lot about what the rocket should look like, what it should be made of and how it should be made; as well as what kinds of materials we can put into the cockpit to keep our egg-stronaut safe and sound.

This week we will find out if our plans and designs will work, as we finally build our rockets and launch them into space. Keep your fingers crossed that all our space travellers make it to their destination in one piece and we will make sure we are extra careful to help them as best we can!

We will show you how just well we have done later in the week. Watch this space!
