Today we had a visit from Queen Victoria. We knew it was not the real Queen Victoria but the lady looked just like her. She was really small and very old and dressed up just like a posh Queen. She also had lots of different people with her that were all Victorians. One man even had a real sword and when we were lined up to see her he shouted "all stand for the Queen!". Then all the Victorian people were speaking to us and even Queen Victoria spoke to Finley and asked if he worked up a chimney and that he could clean her chimney if he wanted.

After that we all went into the playground and all the school sang lots of Victorian songs to Queen Victoria and all our grown ups. We did songs like 'My old man, Daisy Daisy, any old iron and who's a naughty boy. Then we had to sing god save the Queen foe Queen Victoria.

When that was done we went back to class and drew a giant picture with our grown ups. It was one of all the things we can find under the sea because that is what we are learning about. Everyone did lots of pictures and all the paper was full up of different pictures and was really colourful.
