In 1JB we are always looking for new and exciting way to enjoy and celebrate stories and reading. This is why Mr Budge wants to say a giant thank you to Miss Coleman for sharing a fabulous new website with him. Oxford Owl is a website for both parents and children to share in the joy of reading and story telling. There is so much there to do and it is worth exploring the whole site.

However, the most amazing sections are the free ebook library and storytelling pages. With these you can access loads of free high quality, interactive stories that children can enjoy on their own or with their family. These books and stories are not only fun and entertaining, but also help to teach and nurture the skills and joy for reading. I cannot wait to share some of these books in our classroom and hope they might be just as useful at home.

So thank you again Miss Coleman for being so kind and sharing this amazing learning resource with us!
