1JB are all being learning superstars as always! I could not be prouder of you and all your hard work. Not only do you work hard in every lesson and put in so much energy into being the best learners you can be, but you even carry on  learning and thinking in your spare time as well. Whether it is at home after school, or at the weekend, or even during fruit time and in between lessons; you are always busy making me so proud of what you do!

As all your grown-ups know, this term we are learning about traditional tales and Little Red Riding Hood in particular. I knew that the children would enjoy learning about this topic, but I still cannot believe quite how much this would be. It has really taken me by surprise and made me so proud of  just how many things they have decided to do in their own time. From making their own books, creating their own puppet shows, listening to each other tell stories, to creating amazing drawings and writing and practicing all of the different words they might need to use to write their own traditional tales. They really are outstanding!

Every day you bring in work, or show me work that you have done in your spare time and, each day, I am made more proud of just what an amazing class of children I have. Well done 1JB! You really are superstar learners and I am the luckiest teacher in the world to be able to spend my time learning alongside you. I cannot wait to see just what amazing things you surprise me with in the future.

Thank you all so much!

Toby busy writing his own story during a little quiet time.

Elise uses a special computer game to practice adjectives for Little Red Riding Hood.

Zach Loves practicing his keywords to help him with his writing. He always has a competition with Mr Budge.

Morgan is busy being storyteller during fruit time and reads a book to all her friends.

Orla really enjoys writing her own stories in her spare time and uses a book to help remind her what she needs to include.

Sam works with Elise to practice his words for telling Little Red Riding Hood. Good work Sam!
