Wow we had a super time on Friday visiting the school's around the world displays...
This was our Ireland display. We had a dvd of Riverdance playing, we thought it was fantastic!
Then we visited India where we dressed up and danced to the Bangra music :-).
We also tasted traditional naan bread with different dips such as mango chutney mmmm yummy!
In Thailand we learnt how to say Hello in Thai "Sawadee".
In China we loved looking at the dragon masks. We remember doing the dragon sance with Mrs Borthwick in Foundation last year! We practices using the chop sticks and had a go at building a mini version of the Great Wall of China using wooden blocks.
Wow! Look at the beautiful safari pictures of Kenya. We hope we get to have a go at painting these when we are in Year 2. We also had a go at playing the african drums which was really fun.
And to finish off our super morning Joseph's Mum kindly made some Soda bread for us using a traditional Irish recipe. We enjoyed this while watching a bit of RIverdance. Thank you so much it was delicious :-). We thought the Irish dancers must have had to practice really really hard to be the best that they could be. We thought watching their legs move at the same time so quickly was amazing! We wil have a go in PE this week!
