In 1MC we have been really busy learning about Ireland. We thought of asked some questions to find out more about Ireland such as 'What food do you eat?' 'What is your flag like?' 'What transport do you have?' 'Do you have any beaches?'. I wonder what you would like to know about Ireland? We are making our own Non-Fiction booklets about Ireland, we can't wait to be the author of our very own book!
1MC Book Buddies!
On Friday we read a book of our choice with a friend in Book Buddy time. We loved sharing our reading books together and had a go at reading to each other. We are getting so brilliant at reading now in 1MC :-).
1MC have got a link class!
We have been so excited to get in contact with our link class at a primary school in Barnstaple. They are in Year 1 too and their teacher is called Miss Rowland. We have found out that they are learning about jungles and we sent them a card. We can't wait to hear back from them.
Wow! These children have shown us their super building learning powers this week.
Noah and Cole got the Reciprical Penguins award for working really well together in literacy this week. They talked through their sentences befpre they wrote and read each others work at the end. Wow! Super effort boys :-).
Well done to Marc who got the Resilient owl award for managing his distractions during assemblies this week, what a star!
