This week have been practising telling the story of Little Red Riding Hood using talk for writing (actions with words). We can now retell the whole story and some of us have written parts of the story at home which is soooo brilliant :-). We have learnt all about different sentence starters such as suddenly, meanwhile, quick as a flash, then and finally. I wonder if you can think of some sentences starting with these words?
We also discovered that the big bad wolf had been seen in Ilfracombe!! So we wrote a Wanted poster describing what the wolf looked like and why he was so dangerous to warn the people in our town.

We are learning how to make sculptures In art this week we had a go at using clay to create wolf sculptures.
We learnt how to manipulate the clay using pinching, pulling and rolling techniques. We used the sticks that we collected in Chapel Woods for legs, teeth and ears.
