As part of our science this term we have started to learn about the birds that visit our school grounds.  We went on a walk around the grounds to see if we could spot any birds but this proved rather tricky with 26 excited bird watchers.  We did manage to spot one of Sammy Seagulls friends sitting on the roof top.
We had a look at different bird hides on the internet and designed our own and then made some binoculars to help with our spotting.  Hazel and Ostara brought in some bird seed and nuts which we have been sprinkling outside on the patio.
We are very excited that now we have great bird watching skills we can take part in the big schools bird watch for the RSPB.
If you want to take part in this at home this weekend is the BIG GARDEN BIRD WATCH, you can download the information for this website or ask in class for a copy.
